Australian Tourism Awards for Excellence

Conservation Volunteers Australia and NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service were awarded the 2008 Australian Tourism Award, Ecotourism Category for the Montague Island Naturewise program. This is the second consecutive Australian Tourism Award win for this fantastic conservation tourism partnership.  Conservation Volunteers Australia was also recognized as a finalist in the Sustainable Tourism Award category.  The award recognition is a testimony to the significant role tourism can play in conservation.
